Notion-hosted portfolios are great imo. Notion is a tool well-prepared for documenting. Majority of people in the industry are familiar with it so exploring the porfolio should be intuitive.

There are some potential errors to look out for. For example, I would recomend to have quite a flat structure, one page per case study. Exploring the pages nested within the pages may be an issue that blocks people from seeing the content.

I would also work on branding of a Notion portfolio. Add a custom header and icon, colors, etc. so it’s more memorable.
